Bradley Cooper is a good actor. This is common knowledge among society, mainly because the man can do a comedy role (The Hangover), and then do a horror movie (Midnight Meat Train), and then jump into a drama/thriller (Case 39), and lunge into a action/drama (Limitless), and have originality in each of his roles. He normally plays that guy, the one who is cool already, and is making his last step into the realm of Fonziness. But not so in this, the best movie so far this year, Limitless.
Eddie (Cooper) is a writer whose going nowhere. His girlfriend dumps him, and he hasn’t written a single word for his book. One day, he runs into a friend from his past, and is introduced to a pill that allows him full usage of his brain. He then turns his life around, and enters into the world of stocks, where he is introduced to a powerful man in the field (Robert Di Nero). But this sight comes with a price: People are after him. And he doesn’t know how to get away.
Best Aspects: The movie’s acting, score, shots (which were not good if you have motion sickness), and script (based on the great novel “The Dark Fields” by Alan Glynn) were all amazing.
Problems: There was a specific thing that the movie didn’t really reveal. The plot holes were very minimal, nay, non-existent, excluding this one, relatively large and questionable hole. Though it may have been left open on purpose, it is still something you’d expect to find somewhere.
Bottom Line: A-. Good movie, so far the year’s best. Good acting from Cooper, and a great supporting cast with good action and good writing blended in Neil Burger’s (The Illusionist) new film.
The above author's byline must be attached to the work if being distributed.

Pontypool: Because Weird is Good
Pontypool, based on the novel "Pontypool Changes Everything" written by Tony Burgess (who also wrote the script for the film), is a fiercely weird, diabolically addictive film that, from the beginning, pulls you in and makes you want more all the way until the ending. Pontypool is the true example...
